The Eastern Cape is internationally renowned for its exceptional biological diversity, with seven biomes and three global biodiversity hotspots intersecting the province.
The greater Kromme / Kouga area, in particular, contains endangered and critically endangered eco- systems that are home to a number of threatened species that are endemic to the area.
Most of this natural wealth is currently not protected and is therefore under potential threat.
With most of these important, biodiverse areas lying on private land, you as the landowner have the potential to play an extremely important role in the conservation of these areas.
