Oubos-Grootrivier Nature Reserve site

We met with the management committee of the proposed Oubos-Grootrivier Nature Reserve over the weekend to discuss the development of a reserve management plan for the site. The site is located adjacent to the Tsitsikamma National Park and forms part of an important ecological corridor that extends along the Garden Route coast. The site is extremely diverse and contains a variety of habitats, including sand beaches, rocky coastlines, coastal thickets and fynbos, as well as estuarine habitats.
