Biodiversity Stewardship is about you, as the custodian of your land, using it wisely and sustainably so that the natural environment is protected. This includes enabling you to have your land incorporated into the formal protected area system (e.g. nature reserves), so that you can be assisted in managing it so that ecological function and the range of biodiversity within it are protected. This will ensure that the land will remains a viable natural resource for present and future generations.
